Week of September 25, 2017

Hello middle school students and families:

  • Seattle Prep is hosting a math competition for 8th graders on October 14 from 1-4 PM. It’s actually pretty fun, and I award extra credit for attending this event. If you are interested, please see me by September 29.
  • Ms. Rzegocki’s 7th grade home room class will be going to Christ Our Hope in downtown Seattle on Wednesday, September 27, for a service project.
  • My 7th grade home room will be going to Christ Our Hope on Thursday, September 28.
  • In a brief moment of what I hope is uncharacteristic stupidity, I threw away my home room class’s permission slips for the service trip. Students will be bringing home new permission slips on Monday, and they should be signed and returned by Wednesday. I apologize for the needless inconvenience.
  • The 7th graders have a test on science practices on Monday, September 25.
  • Zero period algebra I students have a test on Tuesday, September 26, on single-variable equations.
  • Dr. Gregory Crowther, in keeping with his student teaching timeline, will be the lead teacher in 8th grade science beginning this week.

Have a great week,

Sven Tice
