Week of October 2, 2017

Hello middle school students and families:

  • I’m very sorry, but our grading website has been inoperable, and I was not able to stay current with grading this weekend. I will catch up on Monday or Tuesday if the site is back up by then. I regret the inconvenience.
  • 7th grade boys, thank you for inviting me to your soccer game last weekend.
  • Dr. Crowther will continue to work with the 8th graders as the primary teacher until the completion of his student teaching term in early December. As the trimester continues, he will gradually assume lead-teaching duties in the 6th and 8th grades as well.
  • 7th and 8th graders, please start thinking about your science inquiry projects (formerly science fair projects). We will formally begin work on these projects next week (the week of October 9).
  • 6th graders, please remember that you have your first major test, on science practices, on Thursday, October 12.
  • We have an all-school mass on Wednesday, October 4; this is a dress uniform day.
  • The teachers have a workshop to attend on Friday, October 6, so there will be no school that day.

Have a great week,

Sven Tice
