Week of April 29, 2019

Welcome back, everyone; I hope you all had a restful, fun holiday break.

Here’s what’s happening this week:

  • 7th graders, your presentations on the evidence for evolution are due on Monday of this week.  (Please don’t act surprised; they were actually due on April 19.)
  • Many of you missed a quiz last week because of family travel. If you did miss this quiz, please arrange to make it up as soon as possible.
  •  Zero period algebra I students, please remember that you have a test on rational expressions this Thursday, May 2.

Have a great week,

Sven Tice

Week of April 8, 2019

Hello middle school students and families:

  • The 6th graders will be going to Carkeek Park to release their salmon fry on Wednesday, April 10, from 9:30-12:30. If you are a parent who has volunteered to drive and/or chaperone, please plan on being at school by 9:30. We should be back at school by 12:45. Students should be dressed for inclement weather, and bring water, a pencil and lunch with them.
  • 7th and 8th graders are doing a generally good job on their presentations of their inquiry projects. If you have forgotten the date you’re scheduled to present, please see me as soon as possible.

Have a nice week,

Sven Tice
