Week of January 16, 2017

Hello middle school students and families:

  • As you know, school is closed on Monday, January 16 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr’s. birthday.
  • I will be away from school on Tuesday, January 17. Because of this, there will be no zero period algebra I on that day. If your schedule requires you to drop your child off early that day anyway, supervision will be available.
  • 7th and 8th graders, the hypothesis for your science fair project is due on Tuesday, January 17. (Some 8th graders, who are doing an engineering project, will need to submit a discussion of alternative solutions to their engineering design problem.)
  • 6th graders, your diagrams of types of seismic faults were mostly very good. You’ve been holding out on me; I will expect this level of quality in your written work from now on!

Have a great week,

Sven Tice
